About the Event
We meet at the entrance to the Japanese Garden in Hasselt. Entrance to the garden (€6) is included with your ticket. After our two-hour immersion, you may like to extend your visit and spend some time by yourself in the garden. The garden is open until 5pm and there are various places to sit.
We do expect the garden to be quite busy as the cherry blossoms are the highlight of their season. This gives us an opportunity to practice mindfulness in the real world or just to wander and enjoy the beauty of the garden.
If the cherry blossom would bloom later than expected, there are many other beautiful elements in the garden and our immersion in the garden will go ahead. If the weather is rainy, please bring appropriate clothing and/or an umbrella so you can be outside comfortable. Wear comfortable shoes as part of the path is on stepping stones.
