About the Event

In this Sunday afternoon workshop guided by coach Kathryn Sheridan, you'll use a range of art materials to create colourful papers then collage your own handmade Christmas cards.

This 2.5 hour pay-what-you-can workshop will guide you through the basics of creating brightly-coloured pages with acrylic paint and a gel plate. Once you have made a selection of papers, you will cut and collage shapes to make your Christmas cards.

No prior experience is needed and this workshop is open to everyone. We will be a small group of 6-8 people. This is easy, relaxed fun.

Materials and instruction are included, as well as a drink and small snack.

Messy creativity is a gift of time and deep nourishment. It is an invitation to get out of the thinking mind and into a more creative space. To connect with ourselves and our intuition and step into the joy of creating with colours and textures. And to enjoy some "low-impact socialising", as one participant described it.

Forget any ideas you may have about yourself and if you are creative or "good" at art. Almost everyone can gel print and cut and stick papers onto a card.  In this workshop, there are no rules and no right or wrong.

For this workshop, we are offering a 'pay what you can' scale. We recommend a payment of around 45 euro but we don't want anyone to be excluded if budget is an issue. Feel free to pay more or less based on what feels right to you.

Your ticket includes art materials, instruction, room rental and heating, a drink and snack.
