Intention-setting and junk journals

Dress warmly as if the weather is accommodating, we will start this workshop outdoors. We will arrive and check in outside and set our intention for the session. If the weather is not accommodating, we will do this part indoors by the fire. We will go through a guided process around setting intentions for the year as we move around the space and connect to the elements.

When we come inside to a roaring wood stove and a hot cup of wild tea, we will be introduced to the concept of junk journals - messy handmade books made from scrap paper, like envelopes, magazines, brochures, artwork, old books etc. We will explore different ways to make, bind and decorate our junk journals. We can use them to record our intentions for the New Year.

This will be a cozy, friendly, small workshop at Kathryn's home.
