About the Event
In this 2.5-hour workshop, we will be using improvisation and somatic techniques to connect with our body’s capacities for movement.
We will work with our body as it is in the moment, all bodies and physical capacities are welcome. We will explore working alone, and with partners or the group, to discover new possibilities in connection with others.
Pleasure, expansion and play are the keywords for this movement afternoon - let’s enjoy moving together!
The workshop will be held in the Studio at PEOPLE PLANET PLACE, a large open space ideal for movement practice. Tea and water will be provided, as well as yoga mats. NB: Unfortunately the workshop is on the third floor with only stair access, so not 100% accessible. If you have questions about access, please contact Kathryn by email.
Wear comfortable clothes you can move in. The workshop will take place barefoot or in socks.
Susanne Bentley is a contemporary dancer, teacher and coach (life, movement, artistic). With a background in both Creative Consciousness and Embodiment Coaching, she brings together all her skills in movement, coaching and facilitation to this workshop.
